Getting Started

You can set up your Arriva Monthly Direct Debit Instruction on-line by providing the following information and selecting "Continue" at the bottom of this page.

  • If this is a Personal or Business account where you are solely authorised to complete this application, please continue.


You will need these details of your Bank or Building Society name, account number and sort code.
The Details of your Direct Debit Instruction will be sent to you within 5 working days or no later than 10 working days before your first collection.
You can choose either to pay by direct debit on either the 1st or the 15th of the month. Please note that the nearest direct debit date will be the default option available to choose.

Registration must be completed at least 10 days prior to either date.

You are paying for a rolling monthly ticket that will continue to rollover every month until you decide to cancel your monthly Direct Debit.

No tickets will be processed until we receive confirmation your payment has been collected.


For Paper Tickets:

  • The process, print and dispatch of tickets will take approximately 10 days.
  • If direct debit payment is taken on the 1st of the month the ticket will be valid to use from the 12th of the month.
  • If direct debit payment is taken on the 15th of the month the ticket will be valid to use from the 27th of the month.
  • Thereafter a new ticket will be dispatched to you every month before your current one expries.


For Mobile Tickets via the Arriva App:

  • Selecting a Mobile Ticket will require the ticket holder's mobile number to be entered as Mandatory.
  • The ticket holder must download and install the Arriva App on their phone to create an account and register their details, inclduing the phone number registered to their phone.
  • Once confirmation is received that your first payment has been taken an annual m-ticket will be sent to the app on the ticket holder’s phone. This will be sent within 3-5 working days from collecting the first payment.
  • The ticket will then be sent to the available tickets section on the app and needs to be activated before you use it for the first time.
